Monday- Students are continuing to watch the movie Clash of the Titans and taking notes for their essay.

Wednesday- Students are going to the library to write their 2 page 4 paragraph compare contrast paper about the legend of Perseus and the movie CLash of the Titans. The essay has to be on turnitin.com by the end of the day on Friday and they need to give me their Vinn Diagram they used to write the essay.

Weekly Lesson Plans December 3rd-7th
Monday- Students will begin presenting their Constellation powerpoints and posters.
Tuesday-Students will continue presenting their Constellation powerpoints and posters
Wednesday-Students will continue presenting their Constellation powerpoints and posters
Thursday-Students will continue presenting their Constellation powerpoints and posters
Friday- Half Day. Students will begin watching Clash of the Titans. They will be writing a compare contrast essay between the Legend of Perseus and the movie.

Monday-Students are beginning a powerpoint project on a Constellation that they chose. They are also making a poster with a one page story of a constellation that they are making up. Students will be presenting they powerpoint and poster next Monday-Thursday in class.

Nov 19-20
Weekly Lesson Plans November 19th-20th
Monday- BR # 25 Open your book to page 724 and answer questions #1-5. Students got to see their Chapter 20 test grade and their current grade in the class. Students filled out a survey about Mrs. Stallings. Students watched a video about the Universe.
Tuesday- Students brought all of their Physical Science papers and their binder. Students spent the entire hour working on putting their binder papers in order. Binders are due Friday November 30th. Journals are due December 6th #15-25.
Wed-Fri No School Thanksgiving Break

Monday- BR # 23 Read "We're All Stars" on pg. 714 and answer questions 1 and 2 in your journal. Students will take notes and have discussion over Ch 20 S.3 about the future of our universe. Homework: Define the 3 vocab words on page 708 and do the S.3 Review Questions pg.717 Questions #1-8.
Tuesday- Students in 2nd and 3rd hour will be taking the PLAN test. Students in 5th-8th hours will be watching a History Channel presentation about The Most Dangerous Objects in the Universe: Magnetars, Black Holes, and Quasars.
Wednesday- BR # 24 pg. 720 Do numbers 1 and 2. Make sure to answer all parts of the question. Students will take the Ch 20 Vocab Quiz and have the rest of the period to work on their Ch 20 Study Guide (due tomorrow)
Thursday- Students will trade and grade the study guide and then play the game show review.
Friday- Chapter 20 Test. There will be extra credit avaliable after the test.

Wednesday- Planet Walk- students will do a demonstration/activity to realize how far the planets are away from eachother and what size they are relative to eachother. Students were told to bring their jackets because we are going outside.
